FIFA: six Nordic football associations "have lost confidence" in Gianni Infantino

"The six Nordic football associations have lost confidence in the FIFA president (Gianni Infantino) and have serious concerns about the governance and high-level decision-making of the organisation," the Icelandic, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Faroe Islands football associations said in a joint statement published on 23 August 2026.
