England: Kappa succeeds Macron as kit supplier of Leeds United (Championship) until 2020

The Italian brand Kappa has replaced Macron as the kit supplier to Leeds United FC (Championship) for five seasons (2015-16 to 2019-20), announced the English club on 16/06/2015. Leeds United had been equipped by Macron since the 2008-09 season.

Kappa will supply the professional team, the staff, and the youth teams. Kappa will also receive visibility on the advertising boards at Elland Road (38,000 seats). The official shirt will be revealed at an event dedicated to season ticket holders at Elland Road on 09/07/2015.

"This exciting new partnership is part of the strategic re-launch of the Kappa brand in the UK, with a brand new UK office (in Portishead, England) opened in January this year," said Marc Ward, the managing director of Kappa UK and Ireland, on 16/06/2015.
