EFC: 850 member clubs at start of 2026-27 season following Real Racing Club (ESP) addition

More than 80 new clubs have joined European Football Clubs since August 2025, taking the total number of clubs represented by EFC to 850 at the start of the 2026-27 season following the addition of Real Racing Club (promoted to LALIGA EA Sports), the organisation chaired by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi announced on 25 August 2026.

The European club association, founded in January 2008 as the European Club Association (ECA), hailed "another symbolic milestone in EFC’s ongoing mission to place clubs and their interests at the heart of football."
