NBA revenue is expected to rise by 14% to a record $14.3bn (€12.4bn) in the 2026-27 season, compared with $12.5bn (€10.8bn) in the previous season, according to a study published on 4 August 2026 by Sports Value, a sports marketing agency based in São Paulo (BRA).

The NBA’s growth is being driven in particular by its domestic broadcast rights, awarded to The Walt Disney Company (owner of the ESPN group), NBCUniversal and Amazon for a total of $76bn (€66bn) over the 2025-36 cycle, equivalent to $7bn (€6.1bn) per season. Matchday revenue is expected to reach $4bn (€3.5bn) in 2026-27, while sponsorship revenue is projected to approach $1.9bn (€1.6bn), according to Sports Value.
