FIFA / Infantino: "FFF’s official position to be determined at 10 September ExCo meeting" (P. Diallo)

"I believe we have achieved a success because FIFA’s project has been withdrawn. Now there is the political question, on which several associations and the UEFA president, whom I have spoken to several times, have expressed their views. I wanted the FFF’s official position to be determined at the next executive committee meeting, on 10 September," Philippe Diallo, president of the French Football Federation (FFF), told French daily L’Équipe on 26 August 2026.

Diallo was referring to the proposed creation of “FIFA Forward Enterprise,” a subsidiary intended to bring together FIFA’s commercial and event-related activities, which would have been majority-owned by the world governing body but open to private investors.
