Bundesliga: YouTube coverage renewed in UK and Ireland for 2026-27

Bundesliga Media, the German league’s subsidiary responsible for commercial and digital activities, has renewed and expanded its YouTube broadcast offering in the United Kingdom and Ireland for the 2026-27 season, the Bundesliga announced on 28 August 2026.

That’s Football (1.5 million subscribers), which showed 20 matches live and free of charge in 2025-26, will broadcast 15 Friday night matches (kick-off at 20:30 CET) in 2026-27, starting on 11 September with 1. FC Union Berlin - FC Schalke 04.

Meanwhile, The Overlap, which also broadcast 20 matches in 2025-26, has been replaced by “Jamie Vardy’s Having A Party” (14,000 subscribers), the YouTube channel featuring former England international Jamie Vardy. It will broadcast seven Friday night matches, including the season opener between FC Bayern Munich and VfB Stuttgart on 28 August.
