Basketball: Intersport (sporting goods retailer) global partner of FIBA for five seasons (2026-2031)

Swiss sporting goods retail group Intersport has become a global partner of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) for the 2026-2031 cycle (five seasons), the world governing body announced on 28 August 2026.

"The partnership combines FIBA's international basketball platform with Intersport's international retail network and expertise in event retail operations and licensed merchandise," the body said, adding that the Swiss group will be a partner of the next two Men’s and Women’s World Cups, as well as the FIBA Continental Cups and the Men’s and Women’s U17 Basketball World Cups.
