LALIGA EA Sports: DAZN acquires TV rights (English and Spanish) for sub-Saharan Africa for 2026-2029

DAZN has extended its partnership with LALIGA and acquired the rights to broadcast all LALIGA EA Sports matches in English and Spanish in sub-Saharan Africa for the 2026-2029 period (three seasons), the Spanish league announced on 28 August 2026.

"The launch also builds on DAZN's growing commitment to football across Africa," the League said. The British streaming service has notably been distributing the FIFA+ platform as part of a global agreement with FIFA since 2026. The rights to the Spanish top flight are also held by StarTimes (English, Portuguese and local languages) and Canal+ (French) in sub-Saharan Africa.

DAZN also holds the broadcasting rights to LALIGA EA Sports in several territories, including Spain (until 2032), Italy (until 2028-29) and France (until 2028-29).
