RC Lens: Entrepreneur Equity Partners (14%) and Jean-Paul Lempereur (2.8%) become minority shareholders

US investment fund Entrepreneur Equity Partners (EEP) and Jean-Paul Lempereur have become minority shareholders in RC Lens (Ligue 1 McDonald's), acquiring respective stakes of 13.93% and 2.79% in the club from Joseph Oughourlian, RCL announced on 31 August 2026.

Following the transaction, Joseph Oughourlian, the club’s chairman and owner through his Luxembourg-based company Solferino, remains the majority shareholder with a 69.1% stake (see ownership structure below).

The full amount of the US company’s equity contribution, which specialises in the development of professional sports infrastructure, will be directed towards the major development projects planned around Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
