Matchday 2 of the 2026-27 Premier League season drew an average attendance of 42,216 spectators per game, from Friday 28 to Monday 31 August 2026. The average stadium fill rate was 96.6%.

Manchester United FC - Ipswich Town FC (5-2), on Sunday 30 August (kick-off at 17:30 CET), was the match that posted the highest attendance, with 74,148 spectators at Old Trafford (74,879 capacity), representing a 99% fill rate. Two other fixtures were attended by more than 60,000 spectators.

The English top flight has an average attendance of 40,431 spectators per game after two matchdays in 2026-27 and an average stadium fill rate of 97,8%.
