GAC (Guangzhou Automobile Cie), a Chinese car manufacturer, has become the sleeve sponsor of Villarreal CF (LALIGA EA Sports) for two seasons, covering the 2026-2028 cycle, the club announced on 7 September 2026.

The brand has the status of "official automobile sponsor" and ranks second in the Spanish club’s sponsorship hierarchy. Among the European Top 5, GAC was notably an official partner of Chelsea FC's (Premier League) 2026 pre-season tour in Hong Kong and Malaysia, and aims to "strengthen its brand presence in Europe" through this new partnership, according to Ocean Ma, president of GAC Europe.

PropHero, a Spanish real estate company, also became an official partner of Villarreal CF for two seasons, on 3 September 2026.
