UEFA: Spain, England and Germany maintain coefficient ranks for 4 Champions League slots in 2016-17

"Spain remains out in front in the UEFA association club coefficient rankings, with England and Germany also keeping the top-three slots that ensure four UEFA Champions League berths in 2016-17," stated UEFA on 16/06/2015, in announcing the final association and club coefficient rankings after the conclusions of the 2014-15 Champions League final (Juventus - FC Barcelona, 1-3 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, GER on 06/06/2015).

"There is no change in the top seven of the rankings, with Spain (extending their lead), England and Germany holding the first three places," added UEFA, with Italy, Portugal, France and Russia maintaining slots four through seven, respectively. The first change was Ukraine over-taking the Netherlands for eighth place, with the latter now ranked ninth, and followed by Belgium in tenth.
