LIV Golf: US court-supervised restructuring following end of PIF funding

LIV Golf Incorporated and its affiliates have "voluntarily commenced a court-supervised restructuring process under chapter 11 of title 11 of the United States Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey," the organisation announced on 8 September 2026.

The US bankruptcy procedure, which allows a company to continue operating while undergoing restructuring, is intended to enable the implementation of a Restructuring Support Agreement ("RSA") entered into with BC Partners Credit, the credit business of investment firm BC Partners, which contemplates a recapitalisation of the league.
