UK / Barclays WSL: Nike becomes both kit supplier and main shirt sponsor of London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses, the only Barclays Women’s Super League club independent from a men’s team, have extended their partnership with Nike, which becomes the club’s main shirt sponsor while retaining its status as kit supplier, the club, owned by Kynisca Sports International Ltd, a multi-team structure founded by US businesswoman Michele Kang, announced on 4 September 2026.

Nike was initially engaged as London City Lionesses’ kit supplier for two seasons, covering the 2025-2027 cycle. The agreement has now been extended for a further four seasons, through the end of the 2031-32 season. "The first-of-its-kind sponsorship for Nike and multi-year investment marks a significant milestone in London City’s evolution and reflects the growing commercial opportunity and cultural influence of women’s football," the club said.
