LALIGA EA Sports: total squad cost limit for the 20 clubs set at €3.1bn (+11.5%) in 2026-27

The squad cost limit for the 20 LALIGA EA Sports clubs totals €3.1bn for the 2026-27 season, according to LALIGA, which has published the limits imposed on each team in the Spanish league on its website. This ceiling is 11.5% higher than the last update for the 2025-26 financial year (€2.78bn, March 2026).

The highest squad cost limit authorised by LALIGA for the 2026-27 season is that of Real Madrid CF (€832.8m, or 27% of the total), ahead of FC Barcelona (€582.7m) and Club Atlético de Madrid (€361.3m). At the other end of the scale, Sevilla FC have the lowest cap, at €20.1m. Sevilla FC have once again been sanctioned by LALIGA for exceeding the authorised limit during the previous financial year.
