2030 World Cup: Morocco or Spain? Final venue to be designated "in due course" (FIFA)

The country and stadium that will host the 2030 World Cup final, with the tournament jointly organised by Spain, Morocco and Portugal, will be designated "in due course," a FIFA spokesperson told Spanish news agency EFE on 10 September 2026.

The statement came a day after Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), said at a political meeting: "The city of Benslimane will host the World Cup final. The city is Benslimane, the stadium is the Hassan II Stadium, and I hope that Morocco will be playing in the final."
