Tennis / US Open: Sky extends its exclusive TV rights in the UK until 2030

Sky has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights for the US Open Grand Slam tournament in the UK and Ireland for the 2028-2030 period (three editions), the pay-TV operator announced on 11 September 2026.

Sky currently holds these rights under an initial agreement signed in 2022. It replaced Amazon, owner of the Prime Video platform, as the new broadcaster of the US tournament for the 2023-2027 period (five editions).

The broadcasting rights for Wimbledon in the UK are held by the BBC (until 2033), while those for Roland-Garros (until 2030) and the Australian Open (until 2031) are held by Warner Bros. Discovery, owner of TNT Sports and the HBO Max platform.

• Sky also holds the broadcasting rights, in the UK and Ireland, to the ATP and WTA tours until 2028.
