Puma: Matthias Baeumer, chief commercial officer since April 2025, to step down on 30 September 2026

Matthias Baeumer, chief commercial officer of Puma, will step down from his position on 30 September 2026, the German sportswear company announced on 11 September 2026. The departure is due to "personal reasons," the brand said.

Baeumer, who has been with Puma for 19 years and started at the company as sales director for Germany and Benelux, will remain with the company as a consultant. Matthias Baeumer, whose successor will be "announced in due course" by Puma, will also continue to represent the brand on the supervisory board of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga). Puma, the club's equipment supplier since the 2012-13 season under an agreement extended through the 2033-34 season on 1 July 2025, has also been a minority shareholder in the club since September 2014, following the acquisition…
