Visa, an American group specialised in payment solutions, has become the official payment technology partner of the Rugby World Cup as a "principal partner" of the men’s 2027 and women’s 2029 editions to be held in Australia, World Rugby announced on 14 September 2026.

As part of the partnership, Visa "will play a central role in enhancing the fan experience across both tournaments, providing secure payment technologies within official tournament venues, exclusive access and premium experience opportunities". Visa has also become the presenting partner of the Player of the Match award.
