UEFA / Champions League: 2028 final in Munich (GER), 2029 final in Barcelona (ESP)

The UEFA Executive Committee, meeting in Thessaloniki (Greece), has appointed FC Bayern Munich’s (Bundesliga) "Munich Football Arena" and FC Barcelona’s (LALIGA EA Sports) "Camp Nou" to host the 2028 and 2029 Champions League finals respectively, the European confederation announced on 15 September 2026.

The Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity) previously hosted the competition’s final in 2025, won by Paris Saint-Germain, and in 2012, won by Chelsea FC, while the last final held at the Spotify Camp Nou dates back to 1999, when Manchester United FC lifted the trophy. The Catalan stadium will have a capacity of 105,000 for the match, with the renovation and expansion work that began in summer 2023 due to be completed by then.
