Matchday 4 of the 2026-27 Premier League season drew an average attendance of 42,222 spectators per game, from Saturday 12 to Monday 14 September 2026. The average stadium fill rate was 97.9%.

Manchester United FC - Manchester City FC (0-1), on Sunday 13 September (kick-off at 17:30 CET), was the match that posted the highest attendance, with 74,161 spectators at Old Trafford (74,879 capacity), representing a 99% fill rate. Two other fixtures were attended by more than 60,000 spectators.

The English top flight has an average attendance of 40,450 spectators per game after four matchdays in 2026-27 and an average stadium fill rate of 98.5%.
