SL Benfica: adidas extends as equipment supplier and acquires training centre naming rights (2027-2033)

adidas has extended as equipment supplier of SL Benfica (Liga Portugal Betclic) for a further six seasons, through 2032-33, the club announced on 14 September 2026.

The German brand was a partner of the Portuguese club between 1983 and 1990 (seven seasons) and returned for the 1997-98 season under an uninterrupted agreement that, with this new extension, will cover a total of 36 seasons. This is the longest equipment supplier agreement in the history of the Portuguese league.

The deal is reportedly worth €120m over the new six-year cycle (€20m per season), twice the amount allocated for the 2021-2027 period (€10m per year).
