The men’s final of the 2026 US Open Grand Slam, won by Germany’s Alexander Zverev against America’s Ben Shelton (6-3, 7-6, 5-7, 6-2), drew an average of 3.2 million viewers on the free-TV channel ABC in the United States on Sunday 13 September 2026 (starting at 14:00, Eastern time), according to data from the US institute Nielsen released by ESPN on 15 September 2026.

This is the best audience ever recorded for a men’s US Open final. It thus surpasses the previous record set by the 2025 final, won by Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz against Italy’s Jannik Sinner (6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4), which drew an average of 3 million viewers on ABC on Sunday 7 September 2025, according to Nielsen.
