UEFA / Italy: Sky acquires the broadcasting rights for Euro 2028 and the 2026-27 Nations League

Sky Italia has acquired, from UEFA via CAA Eleven, the broadcasting rights to UEFA Euro 2028, the pay-TV operator announced on 16 September 2026.

The group will broadcast all 51 matches of the competition, including 24 on an exclusive basis, as was the case for the 2024 and 2020 editions (held in 2021) of the UEFA European Championship. Free-to-air TV rights for the two most recent tournaments were held by broadcaster Rai. No agreement for the free-to-air TV rights to Euro 2028 has been announced in Italy.

As part of the new agreement with UEFA, Sky Italia has also acquired the media rights to the 2026-27 UEFA Nations League. The group will broadcast all matches involving the Italian national team, as well as "the best matches" from the group stage, followed by all matches in the final…
