Belgium: QSI, owner of Paris Saint-Germain, completes acquisition of KAS Eupen (2nd division)

Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the sports investment arm of the Emirate of Qatar, has completed the acquisition of KAS Eupen (Challenger Pro League) from Aspire Zone Foundation, a Qatari state-owned entity aimed at developing sporting talent and owner of the club since 2012, QSI announced on 17 September 2026.

Already the owner of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 McDonald's) since June 2011 and a minority shareholder (21.6%) in Sporting Braga (Liga Portugal Betclic) since October 2022, QSI had announced the forthcoming acquisition on 9 December 2025 with the aim of "strengthening its position as a global football and business operator."
