European Top 5 leagues: the Bundesliga has the most clubs with a dedicated mobile application

The Bundesliga is the European Top 5 championship which has the most clubs with an official, dedicated mobile application (as opposed to only a mobile optimised website), with 16 clubs out of 18, according to data collected by News Tank Football for the 2014-15 season on 25/06/2015.

The Serie A TIM follows with 13 clubs out of 20 with a mobile application, ahead of the Liga BBVA (11 clubs out of 20) and the Premier League (10 clubs in 20). Ligue 1, with 8 clubs out of 20, is the Top 5 league with the lowest amount of clubs with a mobile application.

In England, all 20 Premier League clubs do have a mobile optimised website.

• Of the 18 clubs in the German league, 16 clubs have a mobile application (89% of clubs).
