• Debbie Hewitt, vice-president of FIFA and chairman of The Football Association (FA), called on Gianni Infantino, president of world football’s governing body, to publicly disclose documents relating to his abandoned FIFA Forward Enterprise project, as well as those related to the lifting of the suspension on American player Folarin Balogun during the World Cup. She wants these materials disclosed before 15 October 2026, the date of the next FIFA Council meeting.
