Strengthening football development and sustainability across Africa and analysing the performances of Africa’s ten 2026 World Cup representatives (Algeria, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Morocco, DR Congo, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia) to prepare for even greater success at the 2030 World Cup: these are the two pillars underpinning the CAF Strategy Conference, to be held in Santa Maria, Sal Island (Cape Verde), from 7 to 9 October, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on 20 September 2026.
