Eintracht Frankfurt: planning permission granted to expand the training centre

Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) has been granted planning permission to expand their training centre located near the "Riederwald" headquarters (north of Frankfurt), the club announced on 21 September 2026.

Local authorities have given the green light for the construction of a new 750-sqm building, which will in particular include a 250-sqm gym. The club, the state and the city will "work together" on this project, for which the State of Hesse will provide a €1m grant to support this expansion.

The tender process required to award the project to a construction company "is almost complete," the club added, while construction work is expected to start by the end of 2026.
