Atlético de Madrid: highest attendance ever with 70,514 fans at Riyadh Air Metropolitano vs Real Madrid

Club Atlético de Madrid have recorded their highest attendance ever on Sunday 20 September during the game against Real Madrid CF (2-1), accounting for Matchday 7 of the 2026-27 LALIGA EA Sports season, the club announced on 21 September 2026.

70,514 spectators came to Riyadh Air Metropolitano (70,813 capacity), which represented a fill rate of 99.6%. "The home of every Atlético fan fell fewer than 300 attendees short of a sell-out," the Madrid-based club said.

Atlético de Madrid have an unprecedented 61,500 season ticket holders for the 2026-27 season, including 55,929 general sale and 5,571 VIP.

In 2025-26, the club posted an average home attendance of 60,855 spectators and an average stadium fill rate of 86.4%.
