France / Arkema Première Ligue: "Major stadiums" initiative renewed and doubled in 2026-27

For the second consecutive season, the Ligue Féminine de Football Professionnel (LFFP) is organising, "in close collaboration with the clubs," two "major stadium matchdays": one on Matchday 4 of the 2026-27 Arkema Première Ligue season, on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October, and the other in March 2027 (Matchday 19), the LFFP announced on 22 September 2026.

The six fixtures (see the Matchday 4 schedule below) "will be played in the so-called premium stadiums of each home club," according to the league, which had already staged a similar initiative on Matchday 19 of the 2025-26 season, drawing a record cumulative attendance of 69,313.
