Hamburger SV: record €182.1m revenue (+44%) and €8.1m net profit in 2025-26

Hamburger Sport-Verein (Bundesliga) posted record revenue (including transfers) of €182.1m for the 2025-26 financial year (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026), a 44% increase on 2024-25 (€126.5m), the club announced on 24 September 2026.

HSV, whose revenue excluding transfers and media rights stood at €134.9m, broke the revenue record they had set in 2008-09 (€161.2m). According to the club, five of their six revenue streams grew, with match operations (€56.3m), partnerships (€31.4m) and merchandising (€25.3m) all reaching record levels.

The Hamburg club posted a net profit for the fifth consecutive year, at €8.1m, after a €4.4m net profit in 2024-25. Their wage bill stood at €68.4m in 2025-26, compared with €46.8m in 2024-25, i.e. a 46.2% increase. It accounted for 36.9% of HSV's total income…
