Ligue 1 / Le Mans FC: Idrissa Gana Gueye and Lucas Leiva join group of minority investors

Senegal international Idrissa Gana Gueye and former Brazil international Lucas Leiva have become shareholders in Le Mans FC (Ligue 1 McDonald's), joining as investors alongside Brazilian fund OutField, the majority shareholder, the club announced on 23 September 2026. The amount invested and the size of their stakes were not disclosed.

They join a group of minority shareholders that already includes Thibaut Courtois, Novak Djokovic, Felipe Massa, Kevin Magnussen and Georgios Frangulis. The club remain majority-owned by OutField, co-founded by Pedro Oliveira, which became a minority shareholder in Le Mans FC in August 2025 before taking a majority stake in February 2026.
