Euroleague Basketball kicks off its 2026-27 season on 24 September 2026, five days after hosting the first Super Cup in its history in Abu Dhabi (UAE), won by Real Madrid against Olympiacos Piraeus (93-89).

The franchise allocation process, a multi-billion-euro strategic plan, a reform of its revenue-sharing model, and the development of new digital and commercial assets: one year before the launch of the NBA Europe, announced for October 2027, Euroleague is pursuing multiple projects to strengthen its business model and position in European basketball.

The 2026-27 season also marks the first full season for the European league under the leadership of Chus Bueno, appointed CEO on 30 January 2026 after, among other roles, spending 12 years (2010-2022) working for the NBA in Europe, Africa…
