FC Bayern Munich: collaboration with the State Ministry to support the Bavarian Dementia Week

FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) are collaborating with the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention to support the seventh Bavarian Dementia Week, running until 27 September 2026, the club announced on 22 September 2026.

This partnership comes with a video featuring former players Giovane Elber, Raimond Aumann, Karin Danner and Viktoria Schnaderbeck, which carries the campaign theme "holding on to what unites us." Their message is that people living with dementia should not be left on the sidelines, and they tie knots in a fan scarf to symbolise it.

The initiative extends a project the club launched three years ago: the "Forever Number One" memory case, a kit designed to trigger memories in people with dementia and to support their families. It contains:
