Nike to allow fan to locate its products through purchase and collection pages on Twitter

The American sporting goods manufacturer Nike will now allow customers to locate its products through dedicated purchasing pages on the social network Twitter as of 16/06/2015. These pages allow followers to view products, to discover their characteristics, interact with other followers only about the product, and also be able to buy it.

To purchase, the follower must click on the "Go there" button under the picture, and is then redirected to the official online shopping platform of the brand. Thus, the Twitter shopping pages are therefore currently a communication vector for brands to relay social media interaction to their commercial platforms.

Twitter also now offers "collection pages" that allow brands to gather their product tweets on one page, and then link to a purchase page. The purchase and collection pages are accessed via links posted in tweets by brands.
