• The Premier League and its clubs have "continued discussions regarding a new strategic partnership with the English Football League," the body confirmed on 24 September 2026. "Since a fair and generous proposal was formally offered to the EFL last month, discussions have continued between the leagues' executives, and it was presented to EFL clubs last week," the Premier League said, adding that it "remains committed to concluding a football-led solution as soon as possible so additional money can flow to EFL clubs this season."

• FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) have launched "Barça Fan Lab", a digital platform developed with technology partner Andamio and based on Cardano blockchain technology.
