adidas is celebrating the international retirement of its ambassador Lionel Messi (ARG) with a special edition shirt, which will be worn by the Argentina national team during its forward's final match, scheduled for 06/10/2026 (friendly against Benin).

The shirt, available for purchase since 25 September 2026, is accompanied by a collection including pre-match apparel, lifestyle wear, shorts and socks. "Combining elite performance innovation with symbolic design elements inspired by Argentina's national identity, the collection pays tribute to one of the most iconic careers in sporting history," the German equipment supplier said.
