"This General Assembly with 900 clubs and over 1,200 people shows the growing importance of club football. We are clearly one of the three most important governance bodies of global football, besides FIFA and UEFA," Dariusz Mioduski, vice-chairman of European Football Clubs, told News Tank on 29 September 2026.
