Belgium: Vincent Mannaert appointed CEO of the RBFA, succeeding Peter Willems

The Royal Belgian Football Association announced the appointment of Vincent Mannaert as CEO on 29 September 2026.

"Until now, Vincent Mannaert has served as sports director (since 1 December 2024) and will now take on the overall leadership of the organisation for a four-year term. His ambition is clear: to build a stable, modern, high-performing and forward-looking federation, serving the entire Belgian football community," the body said.

Vincent Mannaert, born on 8 October 1974, succeeds Peter Willems, who indicated a few hours earlier that he had left his position following a decision taken by the governing body's management board at a meeting on 15 September.
