FIFA: support from the Union of Arab Football Associations (22 federations) for Gianni Infantino

The Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) reaffirmed its support for Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, at the 81^st meeting of its board of directors in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on 1 October 2026.

"At the conclusion of the meeting, the board of directors of UAFA welcomed the recent steps taken by FIFA to ensure continued collaboration with national, regional, and continental football associations and to strengthen cooperation and joint efforts on decisions aimed at advancing football worldwide," the UAFA, which brings together 22 national federations (see list below), said.
