LALIGA: alliance to support the development and professionalisation of football in Chad

LALIGA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Chad have announced "a multi-year consultancy agreement" aimed at supporting the development and professionalisation of football in Chad, on 1 October 2026.

The first phase of the programme includes a national talent identification campaign and the establishment of a player monitoring system, technical support for the design and structuring of the future National Academy, as well as training programmes for coaches, executives and sports officials. LALIGA will also conduct an assessment of the Chadian league, which will result in recommendations and a roadmap for its transformation.
