FIFA: Norwegian FA submits two filings to FIFA's ethics and governance committees

The Norwegian Football Association (NFF) has submitted two separate filings to FIFA, one to the Governance, Audit and Compliance Committee (GACC) and the other to the Ethics Committee, the NFF announced on 6 October 2026.

The filings follow the unanimous decision by the federation's board on 7 August 2026 to call for the resignation of Gianni Infantino, president of world football's governing body, and for an audit of FIFA's governance.

They concern the "FIFA Peace Prize," whose first recipient was US President Donald Trump in December 2025, the handling of the Folarin Balogun disciplinary case during the 2026 World Cup, and the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) project, presented on 28 July and abandoned four days later, on 1 August 2026.
