LIV Golf: BC Partners Credit commits up to $300m to finance league restructuring

BC Partners Credit, the credit arm of investment firm BC Partners, announced on 5 October 2026 an "initial committed investment" in LIV Golf, representing "the first part of a targeted $300m in cumulative financing" (€266.5m) to support the restructuring of the professional golf league.

The $300m financing package is expected to comprise a $127.5m (€113.3m) term loan and $172.5m (€153.3m) in equity financing in LIV Golf. Funds affiliated with BC Partners and its co-investors are expected to provide up to $150m (€133.3m) of the total, with the balance potentially coming from other investors. The transaction remains subject to Bankruptcy Court approval.
