Puma SE: Anta Sports (CHN) completes acquisition of 29.06% stake for €1.5bn

Chinese sportswear company Anta Sports Products has completed the acquisition of a 29.06% stake in Puma SE by buying the shares held by Groupe Artémis, the investment company of the Pinault family, the German sporting goods manufacturer announced on 7 October 2026.

The transaction, announced on 27 January 2026 for €1.5bn, makes the Jinjiang-based group Puma's largest shareholder, as the remaining 71% of the capital is free float. Anta Sports has also been the majority shareholder of Finnish group Amer Sports since 2019, owner of French brand Salomon and American group Wilson.
