Premier League: The Friedkin Group ready to sell Everton FC, less than two years after its arrival

The Friedkin Group (TFG) "is exploring new investment options" for Everton FC (Premier League), "including the potential sale of a controlling interest," the American family-owned investment company operating in the automotive, luxury hospitality and entertainment sectors announced on 9 October 2026.

The announcement comes less than two years after TFG’s acquisition of the club, approved by the relevant authorities on 19 December 2024. The deal was carried out by Roundhouse Capital Holdings Limited, an entity belonging to the American company, through the acquisition of the shares (94.1%) of Blue Heaven Holdings Limited, an Isle of Man-registered company owned by British-Iranian Farhad Moshiri.
