Matchday 5 of the 2026-27 Bundesliga season drew an average of 37,830 spectators per game from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October 2026. The average stadium fill rate was 98.7%.

Borussia Dortmund - SV Werder Bremen (2-2), the opening fixture of the matchday (kick-off at 20:30 CET), posted the highest attendance, with 81,365 spectators at the Signal Iduna Park, representing a 100% fill rate. Two other fixtures were attended by more than 45,000 spectators.

The German top flight has recorded an average of 42,498 spectators per game and an average fill rate of 98.7% after five matchdays.
