Eintracht Frankfurt : Axel Hellmann promoted to CEO with a contract through to 30 June 2031

Axel Hellmann has been promoted by the supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga) to the position of president of the board (CEO) with a contract through to 30 June 2031, the club announced on 18 October 2026.

A member of the board since 2012, he became its spokesman in 2021, a position in which he was extended until 30 June 2031 on 3 June 2026. « With his appointment as CEO, the supervisory board is counting on continuity while, at the same time, strengthening the leadership structure at the top of the club, » Eintracht Frankfurt said.

« Following Markus Krösche’s departure, Hellmann will also take over the duties of board member for sport on an interim basis until further notice, » Eintracht added.
