2014-15 Premier League review: Chelsea are champions, 8 clubs in European Cups in 2015-16

Chelsea FC won the 2014-15 Barclays Premier League with 87 points (26 wins, 9 draws, and 3 losses), the fourth Premier League title for the London-based club (five titles overall, with another top division championship in 1954-55). Chelsea also claimed the 2014-15 Capital One Cup (2-0 over Tottenham Hotspur FC on 01/03/2015), the fifth league cup for the club.

Arsenal FC won the 2014-15 FA Cup (4-0 over Aston Villa FC on 30/05/2015) for the second consecutive season. This is the 12^th association cup trophy overall for the north Londoners, a new record for the competition, topping the 11 wins of Manchester United FC.

Additionally, England will enter eight clubs into European competitions in 2015-16, due the Premier League finishing second in the 2014-15 UEFA Respect Fair Play rankings. Therefore, in addition to the Premier League's four Champions League entrants and three Europa League slots, the league received a fourth slot in the Europa League for 2014-15.
