"We want our collaboration agreements, in particular the strategic agreement with the Chinese Professional Football League, in force until 2029, and the agreements with China Media Group, among other joint projects, to continue to be a success and to contribute both to growing Chinese football and to bringing our competitions closer to millions of supporters. A relationship built on mutual respect, trust and cooperation, which we must preserve and continue to strengthen. (…) China is and will remain a strategic partner for LALIGA," Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish league, said on 27 October 2026.
